(Port Hadlock, WA – January 29, 2013) – Wild Clovers rose to the
challenge in the fight against hungry pets in the Jefferson County area by
donating 275 lbs of dry dog/cat food, 11 lbs of dog treats and 34 cans of
dog/cat food to the Jefferson County Food Bank. Collection bins were established and monitored at Pet
Town, Bonita's, Cenex, The Lucky Dog Training, Hadlock Building Supply, Sony's
R.V. and Chameleon Salon
The Wild Clovers 4-H Club started this project in early December
as a way to give back to the community and help pet owners who are having a
hard time making ends meet. The club members worked hard to design
posters to spread the word and make it easy for people to donate food for,
cats, dogs, birds and other pets at local area businesses.

About Wild Clovers 4-H
Wild Clover Members range in grade from 2nd to 8th grade and
live in Jefferson County, WA . All members have their own dog and work on the
care and training of their dog. They spend the year working on
Community Services projects and preparing for the County Fair, held every year
in August at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
